Magical lyrical girl nanoha A's (Second season)

Hello guys :DD Okay sorry for not blogging the past few days. I was kind of slacking off because i don't really have the mood because of chirstmas and stuffs. For some reasons i really hate chirstmas. Well lets get on to the main topic. Yeah, as promised , i will continue from the previous post. This post will be about magical lyrical girl nanoha the second season : Magical lyrical girl nanoha A's. I should say this season is a lot better as compared to the first one. It has more fightings, new characters, weapons and etc.. You can roughly make up of what i am talking about.It has 13 episode in this season. My rating for this anime (second season) is 8/10 .



After a few month after ''defeating'' precia teatsrossa,Nanoha has been waiting for fate returns who is on trial while constantly exchanging video messages with each other. One night, nanoha was attacked by an unknown mage named ''vita'' who also call herself a ''velka typed knight''. This new unknown enemy prove too much for nanoha that was forced into a corner. Just when nanoha was going to be defeated, fate and yuno came to her rescue. At the same time, 3 more velka knights, shamal , signum and zafira joins the fight. The fight proves to be fierce and nanoha magical power was stolen by the new enemy. After that, they found out that the true objectives of the velka knights that was to fill up the pages in the book of darknesss which is a class one lost logia by feeding it with magical powers. Once all the pages in the book of darkness has been completely filled, it can cause ultimate destruction. Now fate and nanoha together with yuno and other people from Time-Space Administration Bureau, they must now join forces to save the world from destruction.



In this season, there is a very clear plot and objective. I should not say it has a very good plot but it does has a solid one. This season is kind of like a add on to the first season. where there are new characters, weapons and even skills. So you can expect to see more awesome display of action and also a whole new sets of powers. I should say it is less boring as compared to the first season. In the first season, most of the time, you can only see nanoha battling fate which is more or less the same for most of the episode. However, in this season, you can see fate and nanoha who were past rivals now battling a whole new enemy. so there is more variety in characters which make the story more entertaining.

Also, i feel that the sequence and setting of the story is very good. You know in some anime, the main characters always win even from the start till the end which make the story look like it does not have a turning point. However , this is not the case in this anime. From the start, the main characters are already losing until at certain point when they upgrade their weapons, then they start to win. So you can see the whole flow of the story is fairly simple. Thus, it makes it easy to stay with the story. There is still some twist in the story that kind of makes it confusing but you will still be able to digest it quite easily. One important point is that i must give credits to the ending. It has a happy and impactful ending which leaves a strong impression behind. I cannot say it has a very good ending but a meaningful one.



Okay the opening and ending are again sang by Nana mizuki and Yukari tamura. This time i feel that the songs are nicer and really suits the theme of the anime. It is pretty catchy even from the first time you hear it.

Magical lyrical girl nanoha

Yo yo yo!! it has been one day since i blog.. hahaha seem so long but it is just one day. Alright, let carry on with the review's marathon. Well the topic of today would be ''magical lyrical girl nanoha''. It is released a few years ago so nothing new. However, the graphics are still good. Sad to say, the main leads and most of the characters in the stories are kids. I should say that it is very similar to card captor sakura but a reinforce version of it. It talks about school life, a bit of romance, comdey, magical, fantasy and of course family. It has a total of 3 seasons and one movie currently. This post will be based solely on the first season. The first season has a total of 13 episode and one movie which is based on the first season. My rating for this anime (first season) is 7.8/10 .



The story starts of with Nanoha Takamachi, a nine year old girl attending elementary school. She lives a normal life with her parents , older brother and sister. Her life seems so ordinary which she will stay like this for the rest of her lives. Until one fateful day, her whole life changed forever. That very day, she rescued an injured ferret who reveals that he is a mage,Archaeologist from another dimension and his name is Yuno scrya. He came to earth to collect 21 ancient artifacts also known as the jewel seeds that was first discovered in his own world. These jewel seeds host great power and react to humans feelings that turns them into magical creatures. Yuno was injured while collecting these jewel seeds.

He then request for nanoha to help him find and collect these jewel seeds and nanoha being kind hearted by nature agreed readily. Now yuno must rely on nanoha together with an intelligent device : ''raising heart'' given by yuno now in his ferret form. Unexpectedly, nanoha also shows great potential in magic. As the 2 continues to hunt for jewel seeds, nanoha continues to learn magic with yuno while coping with her ordinary everyday life. Not long later, nanoha and yuno encounters an unknown mage who has the same age as nanoha, Fate testarossa together with her familiar, Arf. Fate then also reveals her intention of collecting the jewels seeds. So the battle of the jewels seeds between nanoha and fate also starts. Later, it was also reveals that fate was collecting the jewels seeds under the order of her mother, Precia Testarossa who is a class one dimensional criminal. So what destiny lies ahead of fate and nanoha? Also what is the true intention of Precia Testarossa and the past of fate also starts to unreveal itself. Stay tune.....






















Magical lyrical girl nanoha is somewhat similar to cardcaptor sakura where cute girls with magical powers flying around and fight with their own unique weapons. However, i should also mention that magical lyrical girl nanoha is a reinforce version of cardcaptor sakura. It has more fightings with more aweseome and new moves. One special features i like in this anime is their weapons. Where the characters are able to give commands to their weapons and also their weapons has not only one form. So as to say that the weapons can transformed into many forms such as awe, sword, hammer and much more. The weapons also have a heart of their own, meaning that they are so call ''living beings''. So at times, the weapons are able to communicate with their master and give suggestions at critical time. The commands and fighting skills are pretty cool too. I should say the weapons plays a large part and add a lot of points to the anime. Although the main characters are kids, but they definitely think and fight like an adult. So you can expect a lot more from this anime rather thinking that it is an childish anime.

The squence of the story is good but i think it is too draggy. for almost all the episodes, the characters just find the jewel seeds, fight and thats it. There is no big twist in the story thats is impactful. So the story can be pretty borings at time where there is too much talkings and they are doing the same thing again and again. Despite saying all these, the major scoring point for this anime is not the plot but rather the actions , weapons and stuff.

The current movie is based on the first season. However note that it is not the continuation of the story or what. I should it is a summarise version of the first seasons. However, of course being a movie there are still some minor characters and part of the story that cannot be seen in the main series. I personal think that these minor parts does not create much of a impact to the main series. Most of the parts are still very similar or same as the main series. so it is okay if you don't watch the movie. But then, if you want to watch it, it is still okay because i should the graphics is very good. I have to give credit for it.



Most of the songs are sung by Nana mizuki. She is a pretty famous singer who has songs and voice for a lot of anime's. I personally think that her voice is awesome and her songs are super. No joke!! You just need to hear it once and you will fall in love with her songs.. Hahaha!!

The songs are really really freaking nice. My favourites are innocent starter and my wish my love. They are rally additive!! I have been listening it for a few years and i am still listening to it until now... For me, watching anime is not all about the story, characters of stuff. The songs also plays some part. A good opening song can give a strong and good impression of the anime. Also the insert song can also sets the mood for some parts of the story. After all, it is music that keeps people going.

Shaman king

Hello people, i am doing review's again!! Okay, i will be Re-reviewing for shaman king. I realised the review that i wrote for shaman king is really horrible. Dont get me wrong, it is not the anime that is horrible, it is the way that i wrote that is horrible. Shaman king is no doubt my favourite anime,so i cant really let my review on my favourite anime to lay down at such low level. So here i am doing a review for shaman king again.I also have some feedbacks that the graphics is not good. Okay, lets get this straight,although the anime is old but the graphic is still very much watch-able. As you can hear from the title, you can roughly know it has something to with the supernaturals. Yes, mostly to do with some ghost stuffs where people usese the power of spirits to fight each other. It talks about a bit of school life, a bit bit of romance, supernaturals, fightings and of course comedy. It has a total of 64 epsidoes. My rating for this anime is 9/10.



The story starts off with a middle student, Oyamada Manta, small in size yet studious. One day on his way home, he trys to take a shortcut through the graveyard. He then encounters a boy , Asakura yoh and his ''friends'' which is a group of spirits. Manta was terrified at the moment and ran away. The next day, he told his classmates what happened but nobody believes it. Coincidentally, yoh also transferred to the same class as manta at the very same day. In order to make his classmates believe him, manta trys to follow yoh to gather evidence but he lost him anyway. so manta decided to go back to the graveyard to wait for him. Unluckily, he encountered a group of delinquent and was accused of trespassing their ''best place''. As a result, manta was beaten up quite heavily.

The next day when yoh see manta covered in bandages, he drags manta back to the graveyard after school to find the group of delinquents. Manta trys to resist but was tied up on the tree anyway. When the group of delinquents showed up, manta sees a samurai spirit behind yoh and turns into a ball form and fused with yoh. Yoh then reveals that he is a shaman that walk through the two worlds. The delinquent was quickly defeated. After that, yoh and manta becomes best of friends. Yoh then reveal his true intention of coming to tokyo which is to find a guardian spirit and takes parts in the shaman fight that happens every 500 years for the title of shaman king. Yoh and Manta then sets off on a journey of becoming shaman king which gets more and more dangerous with each encouter while makings new friends on the way. Not only that, yoh later also learns the secret of his family and his past along the way..



This anime is basically about a group of people using their spirits to create weapons and fighting with other enemies. Sorry to disappoint you people, the main leads in this anime are mostly children. As i mentioned in some of my reviews, children fights can be awesome too and this anime did it. All the actions, weapons, comedy is definitely first class. I am definitely not lying about these especially the comedy part. This anime no doubt has the most hilarious scene among all the anime that i have watched before. 64 episodes may seem long but i can tell you this, i have watched it 7 times. Still i am not tired of it and when you finished it, you will wished for it to be longer. Also, not to mention that this is my top favourite anime definitely. You can actually learn a lot of things in this anime that you can apply in real life. This is good stuff as you can enjoy and learn at the same time. It is like killing two birds with one stone. Some twist in the story also really makes you kind of get a shock, something that you dont expect which is really good. After all, people like surprises,not to mention it is good.

However, it still have some minor bad points. Some parts of the story are too draggy where there are too much talking. So if they can substitute these scenes with something more hilarious and more action, this anime will be more than awesome. The ending is also kind of anti climax, where it just destroys your expectation. I am not saying the ending is not good. It is just kind of incomplete and not fulfilling. So if they can make the whole series longer and focus just a bit more on the ending, it will definitely add lots of points to the anime.



The soundtracks for shaman king, i can only say two thumbs up!! The songs are really freaking freaking awesome. Megumi Hayashibara is the official singer for shaman king. She sang most of the songs for shaman king. Her voice is really super (Y). Dun trust me? Hear it yourself. she can easily be one of the best solo singer xD

The strongs are really freaking awesome, so people try to listen to it if you have the time :D Also, i strongly recommend this anime to all people,regardless of what age. This anime is really one of the best i should say. I even watched it 7 times and usually i dun rewatched anime's. So if you want a good laugh and something good, Shaman king is the best for you. However for people who want a more complete version, you can read the manga too :DD

Cardcaptor Sakura

Hi people's!! Yes, i am back again. Like i said i will be spamming reviews for the next few weeks as i would not have the time after school reopen. The topic of today would be ''Cardcaptor sakura''!! :] Okay, some of you may find it pretty childish or lame , thinking ''why the hell would be people talk about this''. Let me tell you this, card captor sakura plays a very important role in my childhood. I should say it is a part of my childhood. So i would want to share this awesome anime and also this part of my memories to you people !! :D The name tells it that the main character is a girl and a young one. So you cant expect some women with awesome body fighting. I would say that this show is awesome even for a kid fighting. It has something to do with magic, fightings, school life, fantasy and of course a bit of romance. It has a total of 70 episodes and 2 movies. My ratings for this anime is 8/10 .






















The story starts off with an ordinary 4th grader Kinomoto sakura. She was just a normal girl until one day where she open up a strange book and let out tons of magical strong cards. At the same time, the guardian of the clow cards, keroberos also awakens for his deep sleep. He then tells sakura that now is her responsibilities to find and capture the freed cards. In order to do that, she must first learn how to control and use her newly awaken magical powers. However, much to her dismay, capturing the cards is no easy task as each of the cards has its own thinking and strong powers. Not only that, she has to learn how to cope with her own troubles such as school, love, family, friends and also her new responsibility. With the help and support of her best friend, Tomoyo and a li shaoran a descendant of clow reed who is the creator of the clow cards, she must embark on a dangerous journey to find and collect the missing clow cards. With each encounter, the journey gets tougher and tougher.



The 2 movies in this anime is a must watch. It is actually a part of the main story i should say. The first movie, ''Cardcaptor sakura: the movie'' actually happens in the middle of the main series. The second movie, ''Cardcaptor sakura the movie 2: The sealed card'' happens after the main series. So do not miss out the movies, it is really a must watch.

This anime basically involves some children flying around and using their magical powers to fight some mystical beings. It might sounds kind of lame but when you see the way they fight, your jaws will drop. They are actually just like an adult just that they are in the form of children. Thats what makes this anime special as you can seldom see some small kid kicking the butt of some monster that is dun know how many times bigger. Another good thing is that the characters are really cute in this anime. Even a guy like me finds the anime and characters cute. Also, i must say that this anime is a ''no stress'' anime. I am not saying that this anime is not tense or something. I am saying that this anime is much more relaxing than other similar anime. It does has some parts that are tense just that not to the extent that will really make you heat up!! The ending is also kind of good in the sense that it really leaves a strong impact on the viewer. The ending is kind of sad but at the same time happy. Want to know this kind of feeling? watch this anime :DD

Of course, the anime has some minor imperfection. The story starts to get boring after a few episodes. The main characters are mainly doing the same thing in every episodes, hanging out, sense the card, fights and seal it. So it gets kind of draggy and boring after a while. I not saying that this anime is boring throughout the whole series. It does still have some little twist every here and there such as the introduction of new characters.



Cardcaptor sakura have lots of nice songs. Some are cute and some are catchy. To me, all the songs in this anime is my favourite. There is just too much songs in this anime, so i would just list down the openings and endings.

For people who want to try something new, try this anime. Sometimes, children fights can be awesome too. Also for people who like cute stuffs,this anime is the only one for you. There are only 2 words to describe this anime, cute and awesome :DD

Tsubasa reservoir chronicles

Hey yo people!!! Since i am so free and have nothing to do, so i would just update this space. This will be an anime review ''Tsubasa reservoir chronicles''. This anime is quite old i should. I have watched it when i was young but i have never been able to finish it. I have only been able to complete it recently. So i am so gonna talk about it. Some of you people may know that, some of the characters in the story are almost identical to the characters in cardcaptor sakura. So people always wondered if there is really a link between them. After all they are by the same producer ''clamp''. Although on the net, people are saying there are no links between the 2 anime itself. However, i do think there is a possibility in it. This anime has action packed scene, comedy , fantasy and of course some romance. It has a total of 52 episodes and 5 Ova's. My rating for this anime is 8/10 .



The story starts off with sayoran and sakura two childhood friends that are actually in love with each other but does not have the chance to convey their feelings towards each other. Sayoran influence by his foster father, wanted to be an archeologist and sakura a princess from the clow kingdom. One fateful night, the clow kingdom was under attacked by some unknown organisation and sakura lost all of her memories as a result of a conspiracy to obtain her powers. Sakura then fall into a deep sleep. In order to save sakura, sayoran and sakura was sent to the dimension witch, yuko for help. Yuko then tells sayoran that he must travel to different alternate worlds to collect the fragments of sakura memories in the form of a feather that has incredible powers. In addition, kurogane a fierce swordsman exile from his country and Fai a magician who is escaping from his king also joins their journey.

However, yuko also tells them that in order to cross dimension, they have to give up their most precious thing. Kurogane gave up his most precious sword ''Ginn ryuu'', fai gave up his magic and sayoran lost his relationship with sakura in which sakura would never able to remember sayoran again even she regains her memories. The 4 of them then set off on a journey to the different world along with a magical creature, Mokona. Along at the same time, more secrets starts to reveal itself and they soon learn that their meetings are not a coincidence.



For normal anime's, The OVA's does not really matters as it just talks about some side stories. However for this anime that is not the case. The OVA's is actually a continuation from the main series. You do need to watch the it in order to understand more things.

This is actually quite a serious anime but of course not as serious as anime like code geass. The whole anime is actually formatted in a way like an RPG game. Where the characters would go from one world to another and meet new and stronger enemies and also learning new skills. This is very much like those characters in games where they go from one level to another, with whole new sets of rules with each level, getting experiences and of course getting new skills and weapons. This makes the anime kind of adventurous and in suspense where you cant predict what is gonna happen next. It also has a clear and solid plot which gives the viewer a clear objectives of what the characters are going to do. The thing i like the most is the action packed in this anime. I can tell you the way the characters fight is no joke. It has some of the best fightings moves compared to other average anime. The kicks, slashing, magic, and other fighting moves are just plain awesome.

In contrast to all this, it still has its bad points. The story can get kind of boring at times as it does not contain a lot of funny scenes. It can also get kind of draggy with just a little too much talkings. One important thing is that the story at the end is kind of hard to understand. Whereby you have to spent a lot of time figuring out and squeeze out your brain juice. There are also some twist in the story that just does not make a lot sense. The ending to me, is also like a no ending where there is still some things that are kept in suspense which can really make your heart itchy, you know the feeling right? Despite saying all this, i should say the good points are enough to compensate for all these bad points.



There is something that i want to comment about the relationship between cardcaptor sakura and tusbasa reservoir chronicles. Even though people have on the net say there is no direct relations between them. However there are some things in the tsubasa that makes me really doubt that. First all is the sword that is used by sayoran in tsubasa chronicles. They are really similar to the one that shaoran used in cardcaptor sakura. Also the techniques they used are also very similar. Also the both of them are descendants of clow reed. Another thing, look at the picture above. It is actually sakura from cardcaptor sakura appearing in tsubasa chronicles. They are alomost identical no matter how you look at it. All of these really proves that there are some indirect relations between both anime.

I can understand why clamp is using the same characters, but if there is really no link between both anime, why does clamp show the characters from cardcaptor sakura in this case and make the characters relationship and characteristics so similar. I strongly think that there is a intention behind it. So the best answer i can come up with is that cardcaptor sakura may be just another world that is in tsubasa chronicles. Also sakura and sayoran may be the same person , if not the same person in different worlds. So if you people have any views, you can just leave it at my chatbox. We can open up discussions.



Okay now finally for the song parts. There are just too many songs in this anime, so i would just note down some which i think are good :DD

I should say, all these songs are really good. Not that they are catchy, is that they overwhelmed you with feelings especially after you have seen this anime. The couple in this anime, sayoran and sakura can easily be one of the best couple comparing with other anime. Well thats all for now, this anime is definitely worth to watch :DD

Toradora

Hi people, i am back again.. Yes, i am now on holiday.. Finally freee for the time being. This also means that i have more time doing reviews, yeah so you can expect more review coming up for the next 2 weeks !! :D However, today i am still not gonna post anything about AFA 2011. Rest assure, i will try to do it by this YEAR. Instead, i am going to introduce another anime that i have always wanted to talk about. That anime is none other than toradora!!! :DD You people might have already heard about. It is quite an old anime i guess. However the graphics are still good. It is about everyday school life, romance and of course comedy. Yes, something that you can quite see everyday. It has a total of 25 episodes with one season. My rating for this anime is 8/10 .



The story starts with a second year highschool student, Takasu Ryuji who is always trying to look ''good'' in school but always fails to give the right expression. His fiery ''eyes'' make him look like a delinquent making it hard for people to approach him. However deep down, he is actually a very gentle person in nature. After greeted by his overhung mother in the morning, He goes to school on his first day and glad to know that he is in the same class with his best friend, Kitamura Yusaku and Kushieda Minori who he has a crush on.

However, he also unexpectedly knocks into Aisaka taiga who is also known as the ''palm top tiger'' for her fierce character and also happens to be in the same class as Ryuji and a good friend of minori. She has a very bad attitude towards other people and is willing to give them a piece of her mind without hesitation. However, deep down she has a very weak heart that nobody knows. She has a very bad impression of Ryuji and take a instant dislike to him. Coincidentally, she just lived in the apartment next to him. Accidentally, she also finds out that he has a crush on minori and also Ryuji also finds out about Taiga affection towards Yusaku. Ryuji then suggest that they work together to win the hearts of their affections. They then begin to hang out more and more together and at the same time, their relationships also started to get closer and closer....



I should say this anime is 3/4 epic and 1/4 serious. Which means that you can expect lots of funny scenes. The story does have a good plot but i think that it is not solid enough. What i mean is that you know what the characters are doing, but in midway, the story just seems to go off from track and you cannot tell where is the story going. One thing i do not like is that towards the end, everything just started to get kind of draggy. This is because that the whole story starts to get more tense, emotional and less epic. So it can get kind of boring at the end. So at the end when the story get kind of at the climax, it then just suddenly blew you off. Which can get kind of disappointing as they focus too little on the ending. So the ending is actually not satisfying enough.

Despite saying all this, it does actually has its good points. From the beginning to the near end, it has really tons of interesting and epic scenes which really can sent you laughing. So the whole story as a whole is quite entertaining. Also at some part of the story, it actually has some unexpected twist that can really make you say ''WOW'' . The best thing is that the story is not the typical romance type where one guy is flooded with tons of girls which will make the watcher to start cursing at the main character. Rest assure the guy in this story is only surrounded by one or two girls. Also for any lolicons and shana fans out there, this is just the anime for you. As the female lead in the story is very much similar to shana.



Now for the song parts, all i can say is ''AWESOME". It actually has some of my favourite songs in it. Some of the songs may seems boring at first, but when you listened to it for some time, you will definitely fall for the songs :DD

My personal favourites are silky heart and vanilla salt. Silky heart has a very cheerful tune but it actually has sad lyrics. Vanilla salt is a cute song which is very catchy. Although i am not a fan of cute songs, vanilla salt has been an exception for me. Overall, the anime is definitely worth to watch,not too long and not too short. It also has a lot of awesome songs which would make you wanna hear it again and again :DD

Hello people's!!! I know my blog has been deserted for many many days except for my tag box. Well, i am very sorry!! I just cant make any time for posting and next week is a bloody common test week. So just to compensate for it, i will have one post done today. The topic of today would be none other than ''Azumanga daioh''. From the name, the first thing that came into my mind was ''Wth is this''. Yeah kinda have negative thoughts. Out of curiosity i went ahead and watch it and it is pretty nice i should say. So name could be deceiving X: It actually talks about school life with mostly girls in the stories pretty similar to K on. I should say it is more of a comedy anime!!! It has a total of 26 episodes. My rating for this anime would be '' 8.8/10''.



The story actually starts from a 11 year old girl, Chiyo mihama that had transferred into a unnamed highschool. She is a child prodigy with excellent grades whereby everybody was amazed by her. Not long later, another girl, Ayumu kasuga from osaka also transfer to the same school. due to some turn of events, she was nicknamed ''Osaka'' the place where she was from. Slowly, 4 more girls, sakaki, tomo,yomi and kagura join in and the 6 of them started to hang out more together. Where the story tells the everyday life of the 6 girls with some other side characters of their 3 years in highschool.



Okay, the plot does not really sounds interesting eh? Well because this is another those no plot anime thats talks about everyday life. It is very very similar to K on whereby they the characters spent their 3 years hanging out together in school and graduate. The plot is not the one that is attractive, it is actually the characters and the way the characters react that makes the story nice. Hmmm, how should i put it. It is actually a very very cute anime!! The characters in there are very cute and it contains a wide variety of characters. what i meant is that each characters have their own unique characteristic. The funny thing of the story is that what the characters do are absolutely retarded random. Despite saying this, i do not meant it in a bad way, in fact it is because of its randomness that makes the whole story rather interesting.

What i like most about this anime is that it has a free and easy plot. what i meant is that this anime does not tense the watcher. As you know some very serious anime like code geass can really make you feel the stress at some times which can make you feel rather tense. This is definitely not the case in this anime where you can just sit back and watch with no stress. There is also no need to understand the story as what the characters do are just too random for you to predict. All in all, it is a very funny and relaxing anime. Want to take a break from reality? Watch this anime :D



The songs in this anime is actually very little with one opening and one ending. The songs are cute and catchy. It is also kind of familiar to me when i first heard it. however, the songs are just way too cute for me. It is nice but just not my type of songs.
