Yuru Yuri

Hello people again!! Yes, this is my first post since school reopen. The coming 6 months will be a freaking busy period. So i will not be able to update this space often. However, do not be disappointed because i will be back!! Today, the anime i am going to talk about is ''yuru yuri''. Judging from the name, you probably have no idea what is it about. At first what attracts me is the name ''yuri''. Yes because i am a fan of snsd. So this makes me very curious. This anime is actually about a group of girls in their school life with totally no guys. It actually deals with lesbian relationship. Okay, this sounds complicated but no worries, you will learn more if you read on. It has one season with 12 episode. My Rating for this anime is 8/10.



The story follows a girl , Akaza Akari on her first day of the school. She is somewhat absent minded and do not stand out making people forgetting about her presence. The year before the start of the series, Toshino kyoko and funami yui who are Akari childhood friends had taken over the Tea Ceremony Club and self proclaiming it to be the Amusement Club. When Akari first enter the school, she immediately join the amusement club. Not long later, Akari classmate, Yoshikawa Chinatsu enters the club wanting to join the tea ceremony club. She then learn that the club has already disbanded to form the amusement club and she join it anyway.After that, Everyday after school, they would hang out at the club together and do tons of crazy stuffs.



Yuru yuri is actually somewhat similar to K ON!! They talk about school life, all girls activites with not a single guy, it does not have any solid plot which means the story just basically talk about what the characters do with no objective. Okay even so, yuru yuri is still awesome like K ON. Where they do tons of funny and crazy stuffs.

What i think that is really impressive is the personality of the characters inside. Yes, because they individually have such a unique different personality which makes the story brighten up and compensate for the lack of characters such as the guys. Yuru yuri is different from K On in the sense that the activities they do are totally different. Such as in yuru yuri, the characters do anything that is fun whereas in K ON, they just eat and play music.

As i mentioned earlier, the story emphasize on lesbians relationship. This meaning that you can expect the characters running about and trying to do perverted stuffs to each other. This is actually a good point as this shows another aspect of relationship. As you know those typical romance anime just basically talks about the guy and the girl. It is so common. So in this case, yuru yuri provides you with something more refreshing. Also, this is the first anime that i have watched that actually emphasize on lesbians relationship. This makes the story pretty unique. If you are a lolicon, this is definitely the anime for you.























Okay, i really recommend this anime to people who really want to try out new things. Also since it has only 12 episodes, it really suits people who dislikes long anime. I am sure after you have watched, you would want a second season.

Now for the song part, okay actually it only has one opening and one ending song. Really nothing much.The songs do really suit the anime of having the happy themes. However, it is just not my type of bubble tea. I kind of find it not catchy enough and pretty childish. Of course, it is just my opinions strictly. So who knows, you may like it :DDD

KO.ONE (終極一班)

Hello people again :] Yes, i have been really short on reviews. I have really a hard time catching up on anime and other shows. however, i have been watching a lot of movies lately :D Since, tomorrow is the start of a new term for school, i shall do a last review during the holiday before school starts. Today i am going to do a review on a taiwanese drama. This is going to be the first taiwanese drama review that i have done. However, since this is a taiwanese drama, i am translating a lot of chinese words into english. So bear with me the horrible english. This drama is ''KO.ONE'' or 終極一班 in chinese. It has been released a very long time ago. Probably a few years back. It has 32 episodes in total. Quite long i should say. Fahrenheit is casting in the show too :D Judging from the name, you probably have no idea what is it about. I can only say is about highschool life with a bit of fantasy.



There is a class call zhong ji yi ban ( 終極一班 ) in ba le highschool that is established specially for delinquents and rejects that no school would even dare to accept. Despite this, everyone in the class are still very loyal to their leader, wang da dong who is KO.3 on the ranking. Not long later, another KO.3 , ya se wang and ding xiao yu a KO.4 who nobody knows about his identity join the class. While ya se wang proclaims that he want to challenge da dong over the position of the leader of the class. Just when they wanted to fight, they heard the melody played by ding xiao yu, they all lost the motivation to fight. After that through some turn of events, ya se wang and da dong became brothers. Not long later, when ya se wang and da dong are in trouble, they were saved by ding xiao yu. They then learned the identity of ding xiao yu who they decided to become brothers. Afterwards, ya se, da dong and xiao yu then became brothers where they will go through a lot of things that would change their lives forever.



If i am not wrong, this is the first drama that fahrenheit has acted. Despite this, i think they have acted pretty well for first timers even though their acting are not that great. well i think i will start with the bad stuff first.

1.This story is basically about delinquents, So one should have been expecting fighting , fist to fist , kicks and all the action. But there is not really much fightings throughout the show.

2.The fighting are pretty lame with no real life context. What i mean is that they are just throwing blast at each other like those attacks in digivices. There is no really hand to hand combat.

3.The story is pretty draggy with too much talkings so it can be kind of boring at times.

Even though i have said all these, it does have its good points.

1.There are really a lot of funny scenes that can really sent you laughing all day long.

2.The actors really suits their roles in the story. Which means that their appearance really bring up the characters to its maximum

3.They have really cool weapons such as swords, cooking pan with cool designs, whip, axe... Well not like those common weapons that delinquent uses such as knives and rod. So i should say, it is quite creative.

4.I should say it has a really solid plot and unpredictable story which is good. If the story is too predictable, it would not be nice anymore.



My ratings for this drama is 7/10. Okay, even though the ratings do not seem appealing but thats my own opinion. So if you watch it yourself, your opinions might differ from mine. Further more, i still think the show is worth to watch. This show may appeal more to the girls due to fahrenheit casting in the show. Even as a guy, i do admit they look really nice. you know with the cool hairstyles and stuff. Their characters do not really bored you. For people who likes cold jokes and funny stuffs, this show would definitely satisfied you. Well for people who cannot stand lame stuffs, this show might just change your thinking :DD



Well, the drama has many nice songs sang by fahrenheit and tank.

Favourite anime characters Part 1

HI Hi readers :DD Okay, i dun know how many people are reading this, but then oh well. Really sorry for the delays in post. If you do see my blog, you will know that i really watch a lot of anime at the same time. So i cannot really finish them fast. Today, i am not going to do any reviews. Rather, i am going to introduce some of my current favourite characters from different anime's :DD But it will not be a long but just a brief introduction. So enjoy people xD
























Yes first off we have Asakura yoh from shaman king. I can say that he is my all time favourites from my childhood till nows. In the anime, he has a very carefree, simple and lazy attitude. His good points is that he is able to maintain his composure at all times. Thats what i think is amazing. Shaman king is really an awesome anime, do watched it :DD



Next stop, we have Tao Ren also from shaman king. The reason i like this character is that he is really cool with al the stunts and power that he uses in the anime. His attitude is also completely the opposite of yoh. In the anime, he is so call the ''rival'' of yoh. He is awesome, so yeah !



Next again, we have sawada tsunayoshi from katekyo hitman reborn. Yes, he may looked very cool in the picture, actually without his flame , he is just a no good loser. However, once he wears his X gloves and eat a pill which ignites his dying will flame, he goes on a whole new level, stronger and cooler. He is also the boss of vongola family, a mafia group in the anime. He was chosen as the boss because of his kind heart.



following , we have hibari kyouya also from katekyo hitman reborn. He is one of the guardians of tsuna. However, in the anime he is known to be having a cold blooded personality. Always acting alone and being very strong. This makes him really very cool. his favourite phrase is Kamikorosu which means i will bite to you to death.



Yes, we have chrome also from katekyo hitman reborn. To me, her image really looks like those amazorn fighters. In the series, she is a substitute guardians of tsuna. some of her organs are missing and she is kept alive by organs that is illusion. Pretty unbelievable. She might look somehow weak, however in crucial time when her friends is in danger, she can be pretty reliable :D



A pretty good combination, we have baby bel and oga from beelzebub. Looking from their appearance, they may seem pretty harmless. But in fact they are very strong. With baby bel the child of the demon king and oga the strongest at his delinquent school. these 2 are dangerously strong when they are together. In the anime they may seem they do not get along. In fact they really care for each other.



coming up we have allen walker from D.grayman. He is a pretty cool character in the anime. He is some what very composed and proved to be a reliable teammates. His special facial characteristics is that he as markings on is left eye showing that his eyes is cursed giving him a special ability.























Oh yes!! this is one of my top female characters that i really like. This is none other that lenalee from D.grayman. Her special feature is her dark boots which she can be seen giving powerful kicks. Also her beautiful legs which is very captivating and also her 2 long pony tails. Yeah!! she look really cute. Her personality is the contrast of her appearance. She is very reliable and somewhat cool :DD *double thumbs up!!



Oh yes now we have kotonoha from school days which is a really sadist anime. however, it is still very awesome. She is a very pure hearted and kind girl but was later turn to some crazy fellow because of the betrayal of a desperate guy. She has , how should i say, a cute face and a very mature body. The face of an angel and the body of a devil :DD



Now we have ikaros from sora no otoshimono. she is an angeloid. Like the name indicates, she is something like an angel. Well dun be fool by her innocent face and super hot body, she is in fact a super killer machine. She also has a strange liking towards watermelons.



















something interesting, we have oz bezarius from pandora hearts. He is actually the heir to a dukedom. He is sort of a chosen one in the anime. His personality makes him able to accept anything that comes up. He has also made a contract with a chain, black rabbit or alice coming up next.



Black rabbit or alice from pandora hearts. She look really cool and can be seen transformed in to a giant rabbit with a scyter from time to time. Her favourite food is meat. Although she is seen always putting up a strong front, actually she is very weak inside.






















Misaka from To aru no railgun. She is one of the seven level 5 esper. She can actually generated electricity. She is also nickname the railgun till to her powers of shooting out a coin with electricity resulting in a very powerful force. In the anime, she can be seen showing most of her cool sides but she is clumsy when it comes to love. She is seen as a big sister by her clique in the anime.



Finally we have 5 cute girls from K ON!!! Azusa,yui,ritsu,mio and mugi from left to right. They are 5 girls with different personality but what brought them together is music. Yes, in the anime the bonds that they shared is really beautiful :DD The songs that they sang in the anime, i should say is super awesomee :DD



To end off, i should say watching anime is not just for fun and laughter. I believe to anime fans, it actually make ones life happier and relaxing. Not escaping from reality but taking a break from reality. Because in the anime world, you can be what you want. Anything is possible. Anime also teaches the watcher the essence of life and morals. Some characters is so captivating that you wish they are real and in some cases you want to be them. So i believe anime does have a positive influence depending on your own view. Well hope people will continue supporting anime. Banzai!! xD

Fullmetal alchemist : (Brotherhood)

Hey people again. Sorry for the tiny little amount of post throughout the whole holidays. Well, i was busy catching up on anime's. As you know, i watch a lot of anime together at the same time. Okay, without wasting any time, lets go on to the topic of today, Fullmetal alchemist!!! :DD I have only one word for this anime, plain ''awesome''. This series is definitely counted as of the best anime that i have watched. There is a lot of fightings and frequent epic scenes. If you know, this series has 2 ''seasons'', fullmetal alchemist and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. Let set this straight, they are not the continuation of each other. They are the same series with some differences in the story. Later i will point out the differences. Fullmetal alchemist have 51 episodes plus a movie and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood has 64 episodes.























In the story, alchemy occupy a lot of places in the society. Where it can be use for the military or medical purpose. Alchemy is the studying of understanding, decomposing, and reconstructing the structure of a matter.It follows the laws of equivalent trade where you must present something of equal value to gain something of that value. One of such example is turning of lead into gold by following the 3 steps using alchemy. People who practice alchemy are called alchemist.

The story follows 2 alchemist brothers, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric in a country, Amestris . They are searching for a legendary stone or catalysts , a Philosopher Stone where they can ignore the laws of equivalent trade and enhances their alchemy when using it. They wanted to use it to recover their lost body. They tried to perform human transmutation on their mother in order to revive her which is is taboo in alchemy. As a result, Alphonse lost his entire body and Edward lost a leg. In order to save alphonse, Edward sacrifice a arm to place Al soul into a armour.

Edward was replace with artificial arm and leg called automails by their childhood friend, Winry. A few days later, a state alchemist visited them and proposed that edward to become a state alchemist where they can be assessed to a unlimited information and funds to find a way to recover their body. Edward then becomes a state alchemist and set on a journey with his brother to search for the legendary philosopher stone.

Becoming a state alchemist also means becoming the dog of the military. state alchemist also have the infamous reputation of wiping out the whole of Ishbalan race. Along the journey, they meet different characters, this includes the survivors of the Ishbalan race that would seek revenge on state alchemist and a group of people call homuculus. They are artificial human with pieces of philosopher inside them with super regeneration power. They also learnt the truth of their father that left them long ago and also the truth behind the truth of the philosopher stone and the motive behind the actions of the military.

*This is the general plot of fullmetal alchemist and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. They have more or less the same plot however some parts may differ. This is strictly base on opinions.



Like i say, fullmetal alchemist and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood are not the continuation of each other. They are the same series with different settings and some changes in the story. However, they have more or less the same plot. Well, if you want to see the changes clearer, it will be best if you watched the 2 series. The differences between the 2 series are such as the introduction of new characters, Arrangement of story, changing of characters, Swapping of characters name, different enemy and different settings.

If i have to choose between the 2 series on which is better, i would choose fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. Okay, i have my reasons for saying so.

1. Comparing with fullmetal alchemist, brotherhood is much less draggy. Even though it has more episodes, however, it has more fightings,epic scenes. The whole story quickly moves on to the main plot and also with very little flash backs which i think is very good.

2. The graphics is much more nicer. Even though it is the same series , but i think it has different producers. Brotherhood is presented by eclipse. In my opinion, eclipse presents anime with one the best graphics such as clannad that is also presented by eclipse which has the best graphics i seen so far.

3. The ending of fullmetal alchemist totally distort the story as compared to the ending of brotherhood. I should say the ending of fullmetal alchemist is really kind of unexpected which i think is good but to me the ending is not satisfying and kind of incomplete which totally threw the watcher off. Not that it is not good, i just think that the ending is not solid enough as compared to the ending of brotherhood which provides a better, more complete and satisfying ending.

4. Lastly is that the important characters are neglected in fullmetal alchemist as compared to brotherhood. Some important characters such the father of ed and al in the story, i feel he is really being neglected in fullmetal alchemist. The appearance is so little, it totally makes him like a side characters. Whereas in brotherhood, his appearance is a lot more which in terms allow us to understand the relationship between the characters better.

Of course there is also some minor flaws in brotherhood which i dont think is really significant. I will just state it down anyway.

1. Firstly, although i mentioned that the series is not draggy, i still find the episodes way too long which is very far off from fullmetal alchemist.

The main characters has very interaction with some side characters that has important roles in the story.



Now lets move on to the introduction of the songs. Okay, there is sure a lot of songs in each series. So i will only introduce my favourites.

Okay, overall Fullmetal alchemist as a whole is really nice and awesome. For people who like a lot of fightings and at the same time funny, this is definitely the anime for you. I strongly suggest people to watch both series so you can see the difference better and judge for yourself. Not that fullmetal alchemist is not nice, it is still great, just that brotherhood is better. If you are are going to see fullmetal alchemis, the movie is a must watch as the movie is the ending for the series. For people who do not have enough time, i recommend that watching fullmetal alchemist brotherhood is enough :DD Thats all for now, ciao su~~~

Operation love

Yo people's and whoever is kind enough to read my blogs. Yes, if you notice i have very little post about my life but a lot of reviews on anime and drama. Well, watching drama and anime is how i spent my life :DD To some people it may seems lifeless, but to me it is part of my life. So this is just a small world where i can be myself thats all. Okay, today i am going to do a review on a japanese drama ''operation love'' or ''Proposal Daisakusen'' in japanese. As you can see, i have watched to many drama's and reviewing it too little. So i am going to increase my reviews on drama. Proposal Daisakusen is a epic and a touching romance drama. It is quite different from other typical romance drama. Why do i say so, i will tell you later in the post :DD It has 11 episodes with an average of 50 minutes long for each episode and a special last episode with 2 hour long.This will be a short review.My rating for this drama is 8.5/10 .



The story revolves around two childhood friends , Iwase ken and Yoshida Rei. They have been childhood friends for 7 years. Even though they were just childhood friends, they actually had feelings for each other. However, Ken is stubborn and unskilled in love. He is unable to confess to rei and often do things that hurt rei. Instead, Rei is marrying a former teacher . Even worst, he has to attend the wedding of the girl he love and the teacher he respect the most. In fact, he still loves rei a lot and has regrets of not confessing to rei. A fairy suddenly appeared and asked whether he wanted a second chance to change the past. In order to win over rei's heart, he agreed to the fairy help. The fairy then tell him to pray and he will grant his wish. When Ken prays saying '' Hallelujah chance '' , he was sent back to the time just before the picture they are viewing were taken.



In every episodes, the main character was sent to the time just before the picture they are viewing were taken. You can see the transition of the main characters from their school days to the days where they became adults. Now i can tell you why this drama is unique and different from other typical romance drama. Instead of the main story taking place in the real place, the main character is sent to the past and changing it.

This in terms gives the viewers a very different taste so it would make the story not very predictable. Although the main character is sent back to the past, but still he does not have any special powers, so he still have to count on his own strength to change the past. I think this is good because if there is too much ''magical'' content , it will distort the whole story. After all this story takes place in a real life context not like power rangers or kamen riders. There are also some funny and unexpected scenes that sure can sent you laughing most of the time.

Still, the story still has a bit of flaws which i think is significant. The story focus too much on the ''past'' which in terms neglects the present story. What i meant is that the story has too much time taking place in the past and only spent a very small minor fraction of the time in the present. This makes the ending some what incomplete and the story a bit draggy. As the story spent so little time in the present, The feelings of the people in the present is unknown to us. After all, the whole point of the story is to go back to the past and change the present. Because of the little time, we were not able to see the result of the ''changes''. However, i still think the plot is nice and solid.



Overall i think this drama is pretty awesome for a japanese romance drama. If you notice i really like japanese dramas, especially when it comes to romance. Well for those people who are tired of those long winded , typical romance drama's and wants a whole new different taste, this is definitely the one for you :DD

It has only 2 songs in the whole story. A insert and a ending song. The songs are pretty old school. So maybe for the younger generations like myself, you may find it pretty old and boring. however, as you go along the episodes, after hearing a few more times, you will be some what attach to the songs. I should say the song is really compatible with the drama and it also calm one's nerve xD

My personal favourite is Chiisana Koi no Uta . It is pretty old school like i said, however some how it over whelm you with feelings . My rating for this song is 8/10. :]
