The story follows a Hikikomori , namely Sakurada jun... Being a Hikikomori, he locks himself in his room all day long, almost making no contact with anybody from the outside world... This was all due to some turns of events that happen in the past that cause him to act like that... Ironically, he has a older sister who is in fact outgoing and ''normal'' like any other people.. However, she does care about Jun and always trys to attend to his need with the result of Jun treating her like a slave... Being shut in his room, he often order ''supernatural'' stuff as his activities online... One day, he ordered something called ''Rozen maiden'' online which he though is just another fake stuff.... Much to his shock, after he wine up the doll, it actually came to life and introduces herself as Shinku... Later on, Jun was suddenly attacked by a flying doll that came crashing into his room... He was then saved by Shinku who he formed a contract with... Shinku then told him that he has officially joins the Rozen maiden fight in which the last doll standing will become alice... Slowly, Jun also started to know more friends along the way and at the same time shinku helps him to overcome his fear of social life....
Rozen maiden is pretty much like your everyday Harem anime where the all the girls just keep falling for the main character.. With the exception that the human girls are replaced by female dolls.. This concept may seem weird but if you see it yourself, it is actually quite interesting.. Not to mention that the dolls are loli's... This is kind of expected... I mean you seldom see dolls with big boobs right? It will be so weird... don't be mistaken that this is some kiddy show for paedophile.. In fact it is actually quite a decent anime.. Depsite having the kiddy appearance, they still have some adult like personality.. I don't mean that they are not cute or whatsoever, they are just cute in their one way..
Rozen maiden definitely succeeds as a comedy genre anime... In season one, you can expect many laughter to come... So if you thinks dolls are just cute? think twice because they are funny too :D But then the action here is very little.. how do i put it.. Season one actually focus a lot more on the introduction of the different characters and the comedy part... so don't expect too much action from it.. Well something to take note is that this anime is really pure doll madness.. Majority of the characters are really just living dolls with human emotion but nothing human like in its appearance.. So if you really hate dolls to the core, rozen maiden is something that you don't want to mess with...

Kinjirareta Asobi is definitely something that is pleasing to hear... It caught my attention just on my first try and i was determined to download it.. i would not say that it is a master piece but just some of the better openings.. This was my first time to come across something by Ali project... And it definitely gives me a great impression.. After that i just have to take note songs sang by them... Toumei shelter is something cute and not in my range of interest.. Oh well..
Yosh, this marks the end of the season one of Rozen Maiden...Personally, i feel that it is really unique... If you think dolls are boring then you got to give this anime a try...It is something pretty relaxing to watch and enjoy... It will defnitely be something refreshing for people who are sick of your every day average human girls... In my opinion, rozen maiden should really appeals more to dolls and lolicon lovers... Well happy watching and stay tune for season 2....
