Okay enough talk about my personal life, today i gonna talk about an awesome anime called blood plus. Judging from the name, you people might think that it has something to do with vampires. Well in the anime, there no vampires but there is creatures that feeds on human blood. so that is a common point. It is a 4 seasons series with a total of 50 episodes. It is quite action packed i should say and i think that it has quite a solid plot.
The story revolves around an ordinary teenage girl, saya otonashi. She is adopted and has amnesia.She lived with her foster father and his two sons namely kai and riku. However one day, she was attacked by a blood thirsty, deadly and bat like creature, Chiropterans . Just then, an unknown guy came to her rescue. Saya was shocked as the guy has a creature like hand. The guy reveals that his name is haji and he is saya's chevalier.He also urged that saya must fight on. Seeing the horrified scene, saya was terrified. Later, haji fed his blood to saya and gave her a katana. Just then, her personality suddenly changed where she cut herself with the katana, letting the blood drip one her katana. The chiropterans was quickly defeated by saya which was solidify after it comes in contact with the katana.
Later, she learned the truth that she was not a human but the queen of chiropterans and she was sad and at a loss. However, one day her adoptive father was kidnapped and was changed into a chiropteran artifiically by an unknown organisation. At that sight, saya has no choice but to kill her adoptive father. Saya was devastated over her foster father death and was determined to find the culprit.
Soon after that, she learned from david, a member of red shield that hunts chiropteran that the culprits behind her father transformation is by her twin sister, diva and her 5 powerful chivaliers. Upon hearing this, saya was determined to crush them. saya, haji, kai ,riku and david then embarks on a journey around the world to kill all the chiropterans incuding her twin sister, diva. At the same time, during the course of journey, she rediscover her history, identity and the history of chiropterans that extents back to the mid 18 century.
Chiropterans is a human-bat like creature that feeds on humans blood and has extraordinary speed, strength and super healing abilities. The artificially made chiropterans also known as delta 67 that falls in the lowest level that has no emotion and live purely on their instinct.Follow up the level, is a group of articially created chiropteran, schiff that is in the form of human shape that are intelligent and have emotions. However, it is known that they are defective that is sensitive to sunlight and has very short life span.
The second highest level of chiropterans is the chivaliers. They are created from human that drinks the blood of the queen directly. Because of this powerful bloodly bond between the queen and the chivaliers, they have to serve and protect the queen and at cost.
The highest level of chiropterans are the queens. In any given generations, there are only 2 queens who are the female twins that is born from one of the previous queen. Saya and diva are the current queen of their generations. All chiropterans are born from the blood of the queens either through the queens own effort or by human transformation. The queens blood have the effect of crystallizing any level of chiropterans made by their sister queens blood including her sister. However at any one time the queens only spent a few years awake and goes into hibernation for a few decades. The strength of a queens depends on her regular feeding on humans blood. Diva who feeds on human blood freely can utilise her strength more freely while saya who avoids feeding on human blood have only a strength sightly higher than an average human. when a queen is pregnant, her blood will lose it strength to crystallize. A queen can only be pregnant by her queen sister chivalier's.
This anime i should say is neither long or short. It has a lot of fightings, so for people who like action packed anime, this is definitely the one for you. However at the starting, it can be quite boring but at the same time the story will keep you in suspense. Quite a nice and solid plot. There is one thing i dont like is that the ending does not have a good ending. I definitely wish that it has a 5th season . It would be better. Overall, it is definitely an awesome anime to watch. My rating for this anime is 8.7/10 xD

1. Aozora no namida by Hitomi Takahashi (opening 1)
This song is quite catchy so you will definitely feel like listening to it again and again. The lyrics and Mv itself has a strong link with the anime. So guys if you really like this song, do see the mv and lyrics. For people who do not like, try to look at the mv and lyrics too. Who knows you may like it after you look at it!! :DDD
