Gloomy salad days (死神少女)

Hey people!! I am finally back after so many days. School has really been eff up for me. Trust me, being in poly is not easy. I know you guys might be expecting stuffs from AFA in this post. Well, i am very sorry because i am not going to do it today due to time constraint and sucky internet connection X: I have watched too much dramas and reviewing way too much. So this post will be about drama. Today the drama i am going to review would be none other than salad gloomy days or 死神少女 in chinese. Judging from the name, you can roughly guess that it is a taiwanese drama. Rest assure, even it is not japanese related, it is still awesome. One of the main character inside the story is Aaron yan from Fahrenheit. He is one of my favourite idol and also definitely loved by many girls. This drama actually has some supernatural content and a mixture of social and school life. It has a total of 20 episodes. My rating for this drama: 8/10 .



The main story basically starts and happen in a school. Where there is a legend in the school that talks about the death girl. However, there is no actual believe in it. One day due to some happenings, a magical stone is passed on to 12 different people in which they could see the death girl after they came in contact with the stone. It is also known that when the people with the stone has his mine filled with death, he or she would summon the death girl. The death girl would fulfilled one of the person wish but in exchange that person has to be turn into a stone to support the collapsing death bridge in hell. The story actually involves 12 stories that happened to teenagers that is taken from real life issues. Shen Qi (Aaron yan) , an ordinary student is the exception that can see the death girl due to his brain tumour. As he watched how the death girl fulfilled her task to help people to go through the transition of life and death, he also gradually get to know the secret of her past and eventually fall in love with her....



The story is actually inspired from the Japanese anime, hell girl. Even though it has only 20 episodes, but it actually has a really big content in it. This drama has very few epic scenes because it is a very serious drama since it talks about life and death. I should say the plot is pretty good and creative but solid enough. What i mean is that you cant really see how the story flows.

One of the good points of this drama is that it actually covers a wide range of people, issues and relationship. Some of these examples are gay, lesbian, gangsters , love relationship between student and teacher and so on.. So you can see that it really talks of life as a whole. This is a good and unique point as there is a lot of more option for the watcher to comment and think. Another good point of this drama is that it is really organised and not messy at all. As i mentioned above, it talks about 12 different stories in just 20 episode. This is already just pure amazing. The best of it is that it is very organised. It is really easy to understand the story and remember the characters. To me, a good drama is a drama that has a interesting plot and easy to digest. Another thing is that it actually teaches a great deal of morals about life which i find is very meaningful as some things you just cant learnt it in school.

Of course, there are still some bad points. The drama is so serious to a point that it makes the story really boring at times. So i feel that the story would be better if they were to raise the epic content so compensate for the seriousness. To me, having contrast is always good. Another bad point is that some part of the story really does not make sense that makes it really hard to understand. So if they can just simplified and make the story clearer by just a bit, it would be dam awesome!!!!



Now for the song part. The songs really do match the drama but it just not to my liking. So you can try listen to it and maybe you would like it.

Even the songs in this drama gives the feelings of death. This drama is kinda sadist. At the same time, you can really learnt a lot of things from it. Sometimes death is really not an option when you want to protect your love ones. Overall this drama is awesome!!!Sadist but overwhelmed with feelings :DDD

Hatsukoi limited

Hey people!! I am back again!! X: Yes, i know my blog is very very very dead. However, please dont blame me mann!! Blame it on my freaking school. I have been dam busy, no joke.. Tons and tons of stuffs to do.. so yeahhh.. As you people know, there is an anime related event that take place recently which is none other that AFA!! It was totally awesome.. I will talk about it soon.. Th topic of today would be hatsukoi limited. If you guys are wondering what it means, it actually means fist love limited :DD Yes, it is actually a romance anime xD You might think it is just another ''romance'' anime. Trust me, this is something different. Okay, it s a short anime with 12 episodes. My rating for this anime would be 8.5/10.



The story is actually talks about the love life of eight girls in the middle school and high school and also the people around them. For the first few episodes, it focuses on a series of short stories of the girls talking about their complicated love lives. In the later episodes, the stories then intertwine which involve most of the casts. The characters are actually linked up by complicated love chains. In which along the way, unexpected love sparks starts to ignite between the characters. Apart from the love stories, there also epic scene every here and there.



The story actually has no solid plot. Which means that the character has no objectives. It is just a series of different love stories chuck and link together by a complicated love relationship chains. By saying this, i do not mean it in a bad way. In fact it is unique and awesome. In those typical romance type anime, there is either one guy flooded with a lot of girls or just one guy and on girl. However, in this anime it gives you a whole new concept. Where every girl in the story is pair up with at least one guy. Thats spice up the story.

Instead of talking about just one relationship, it is actually talking about a lot of relationship. This makes it more refreshing and it definitely wont bored us. Despite have so many complicated love relationship link together, it is actually easy to digest the story which is very important. If you cant digest the story, then there is no point in watching.

Another thing is that, the story is actually quite organized. Every episode it actually focus on one or two relationships at a time. It does not just flood all the characters in one episode. This is especially good as it helps you to understand and know the characters in the story better. One last thing is that the characters in the story ends up with someone. This is a very good ending for me. Whats a romance story when there is nobody got together, it would totally distort the whole story.

The show is actually quite funny most of the time. Also the characters are a bit revealing making the series abit eechi. So for people who like anime girls with godly figures and epic scene, this is definitely the one for you.












Now for the song part. I cant really say the songs are not nice, it is just that it is not really my cup of tea. So i should say it is really very subjective. I will note it down anyway.

Kanon

Hi people's!!! Yes, i am back.. well i know my blog is pretty bad but dun blame me. School has been tough and it has been eating up a lot of my anime time. Rest assure, i will still try my best to update this small place of mine. The topic for today would be on one awesome anime that i have watch recently, Kanon!! :DD The name dun really sound appealing aye!! However, i promise you this anime is great. It is VERY similar to clannad if you guys have watch. They has the same producer by eclipse. Which means that you can see those awesome graphics.. Pretty appealing to me!! It is pretty much about school life and related stuffs. Also some stuff like clannad which is fantasy and miracle. It has only one season with 24 episodes. My rating for this anime is 8.9/10 .



The story takes place in a city. It revolves around a second year highschool student, Aizawa Yuichi returning to the city after 7 years when he first visit the city. He decided to stay with his cousin, minase naiyuki and her mother Akiko. After going away for so long, he has long forgotten of what happened 7 years ago in this city. On the day of his returns, he is out with naiyuki showing him around the city and to buy ingredients for the dinner. Yuichi refuses to go in the store with naiyuki as he was afraid that he would be lost. While waiting at the side walk, a girl, Tsukimiya ayu bang into him and drag him into a cafe and confess that she had steal a taiyaki unknowing as she was scared off by the owner before she has a chance to pay. Yuichi drags ayu back to the store and apologise and was forgiven. They then decided to meet up again.

A few days later, another girl, sawatari makoto bang into yuichi. She has no memories of her past but still remembering her grudge again yuichi. After she collapse, yuichi then brought her home and learn about her situation where she was given permission to stay at Akiko house which yuichi was against it.

Later, she got to know another girl, kawasumi mai who is at the same highschool. She is always fighting demons in school at night when the school is deserted. Thus, she is always blame for all the accidents that happen in school. Where later, yuichi also joins mai at night almost everyday. By coincidence, yuichi met another girl, misaka shiori. She has suffered from an unknown disease ever since she was born which made her body too weak to attend school. Yuichi starts to talk to her after noticing her in the school courtyard. It turns out that she was waiting for someone dear to her. As the story goes on, yuichi starts to remember bits of the memories 7 years ago and the connection he has with the 5 girls.



The story focus primary on yuichi and the 5 girls in the story. Where there are a few side characters every here and there. Like i mentioned just now, Kanon is very very similar to clannad. Even the characters personality are very similar. The settings are quite similar too in the sense that the main character met a lot of girls by coincidence where he later know that they have actually met before. One key similarities is that it contains the element fantasy and miracle. Yes, i should say the whole story revolves around miracle. Without this element, the story is a sure thumbs down.

I should say the story is a good in a sense that it is pretty organised. What i meant is that the story actually follows a sequence where the story concentrate on yuichi and a girl and solve her so call problems before moving on to another girl. This is essentially critical as it makes the story looks more neat and also help the watcher under stand better :D Also,Most of time, the story would sent you laughing all the way. It is very entertaining and relaxing. Also most of time in the story, it is kept in suspense that would urge you to carry on watching. So this surly add points to the anime.

Of course, it does has its bad point. One season is definitely not enough. The ending is good but not satisfying enough. It is because the ending somehow set it into a beginning of another story.It would make the watcher want to continue on. So i believe that if it has a season 2, it would be Gr-awesome ( great and awesome ).

For me, Kanon is slightly better that clannad. Saying that clannad is still great. Both series would surely sent you laughing and crying :DD Overall, i feel that the anime is definitely worth for you to sacrifice some of your time to watch. Good anime' are always worth people's time to watch xD



Now for the song part.Okay it has nothing much because it only has one opening and one ending song and a few characters song.

My personal favourite is Last regrets. The song title is pretty cool aye ? :DD It is not that catchy but at least it does fill you with emotion.
