Sket Dance

Hi people out there!!! After 4 months of hiatus, I am finally back again to revive my blog :D Yeah, just to let you guys know, i am graduating !! yay!! Well lets get to the topic of today.. It will be an anime review '' Sket Dance''.. I have completed this anime quite sometime ago last year.. I have to say this is one hell of an awesome anime.. It is just so enjoyable to watch.. At first i thought that this anime is just some lame ass anime that can be found anywhere.. But after seeing a few scenes from facebook, well it sure arouse my interest.. Damm I am so glad to have watch this :D ''Sket Dance'' is a school life based genre anime with support genres such as comedy, slice of life and bits of drama.. It has a total of 77 episodes with only one season.

Sket dance talks about this ''3 men (Bossun, Himeko, Switch) '' club in Kaimei HighSchool. The main purpose of the club namely Sket (Support,Kindness,Encouragement,Troubleshooting) Dan is to assist and help to solve any problems that anybody faced in the school. However Sket Dan has a reputation for causing more trouble instead of salvaging the situations. With the lack of ''proper club activities'', the club often face problems post by the student council. The story tells the epic adventure of sket dan solving the problems of different people in and outside or school with new friends and people coming together along the way...



Sket dance is one hell of an epic and comical anime to watch.. I will say the anime comprises of 95% comedy and the rest being seriousness. Okay I got to admit, even in some cases of serious scenes I still cannot control myself from laughing away!! This proves how epic is the anime. It is really an enjoyable anime to watch with tons and tons of comic relief every here and there.. Well this anime is pretty much similar to hayate no gotokun, there is really not much seriousness in it.. It is a watch for enjoyment anime.. Having said that, it does has many merits point that can consider as a good anime :D

An obvious merit would be its characters.. There are just tons of characters to choose from... I will say it has an substantial variety of characters as compared to other anime.. imagine 70 episodes with new characters per 2 - 3 episodes.. This is just crazy dude!!! Not only that, they have one hell of interesting characters with good concept and crazy combination... Lets take the club members for an example. One of them has a dam powerful concentration ability when he put on the goggles.. However he concentrate too hard with the side effect of throwing up afterwards.. The other one that is an airhead with monster strength that do not lose in a fight.. The last member is some guy who only talk through using a computer tat is one hell of a popular genius otaku!!! woah crazy combi right :D

The side characters are cool too with some memorable one :D Another positive aspect of this anime is that it has bits and pieces of reoccuring characters too. So you do not have to worry about not seeing some of your favourite characters anymore!!! However this is also its losing point.. The re-occuring characters just came up too much.. the gag that was used is just too frequent that it becomes not impactful or funny anymore.. Despite being a near total comedy anime, it does has some heart warming moments. The emotional setting is pretty good too with some of the scenes that almost got me wiping my face with tissues D: Yes it is that good believe it or not!! well it still has some inspiring speech that motivates people.. at least in my case!!! Okay did i mention there is a cross over with other anime in one of the episodes? oops! i just spoiled it!

Okay for the song wise, there is just too much songs to list man.. So I will only list some of my personal favourite.. Well the songs are pretty enjoyable but gets kind of boring after a while.. But my personal favourite would be ''Michi''.. In fact, it was already in my ipod before i watch this anime.. So yeah you can see the song is plain awesome!!!

Well all in all ''Sket Dance'' would be ranked among the high score anime.. Yes, it is just so enjoyable to watch with so much comic relief and comedy.. You know serious anime like code geass and guilty crown can be so tiring and stressful to watch. Well do not be fool by the appearance of this anime, it has its inspiring and heartwarming side that can touch your heart!!! Well when the anime ended, I was reluctant to say goodbye too :D If you enjoyed watching anime like gintama or hayate no gotokun, you will probably love sket dance too :D well thats for all.. ciao~~~~

Usagi drop

Yoyo minna!!! Yeah finally get a chance to update this very small place :D Alright! just to let you know i will be graduating soon :D oh yeah.. but it will be hell for the time being.. I have just attended the great event AFA 2012 recently.. However i will post it next time .. Internet has been a drag! Lets get down to the real deal now which is an awesome anime ''usagi drop''.. It is an anime that i found during AFA this year.. Sadly this is one of the featured but no attention anime X: but i am glad that i have found this anime and finished it.. There is only 2 words that can describe how i feel about this anime, ''Heart warming'' and ''influential''. The genre would be family, comedy, drama and many piece of life :D It has a total of 11 episodes.

Rating: 8.2/10

The story starts with this 30 year old guy, Dakichi who is simply a workaholic. His life only revolves around working and drinking after that.. No more and no less. One day, he went back to his home town for his grandfather funeral and only fated to see a unfamiliar child in the garden.. His mother then told him that the six year old child, Rin is actually his grandfather illegitimate child with no information of the mother. Rin was treated as an outcast with no relatives that wants to take her in. After seeing this horrible scene, Dakichi took pity on her and decided to take care of her by himself. Through the process of taking care of Rin, he get to taste the feeling of being a father, close friend and little that he know that his life will change forever !!!

I was quite curious when i saw this anime in AFA this year. The name itself sounds mysterious : bunny drop. Even the poster seems very different from other anime with a old guy standing beside a small kid. It just leave me to wonder what kind of anime it will be~~~ And hell yeah i am really glad and lucky to check out the anime.. It is definitely one of the most heart warming and inspirational shortest anime that i have watched so far....

Lets talk about its animation, yes the animation is kind of different from the rest of the anime.. Usagi drop seems less animated but more ''manga'' like.. Yes the whole animation seems closer to a picture story to me.. However this is definitely not a bad thing.. In fact it is so refreshing that you could really get use to it... For the character parts, it does not really have a variety of character.. However is a good thing that they featured a lot on the 2 main cast which is Dakichi and Rin.. This 2 characters is like a mascot for this anime.. When you think of this anime after watching, this 2 character will definitely be the most memorable to you :D Of course there are a few important side character appearing every here and there.. These side characters has really done a good job in bringing up and adding a little spice to the story..

The plot may seems simple and plain.. But trust me the story itself as it proceeds will be very heart warming and inspirational that may or may not has this very little impact in your life. However it does has this mini impact on my life.. So i say it really did a good job doing that for such a short anime.. Apparently this anime has some child figures as characters that appear quite often which raise the cuteness level !! Yes, so you can really expect some comic relief quite often... I should say comedy and cuteness really comes hand in hand which makes a wonderful combination ... One thing that i find this anime interesting is the relationship between the characters. In the story, Rin is the auntie of Dakichi who is a few times older than her.. At the same time, Dakichi acts like a father and a close friend to her.. When you can see the transition of Dakichi sacrificing some things to change his lifestyle for Rin is the most beautiful thing about this anime!

For the both of the songs, it did not really ignite my interest.. I am kinda disappointed for the opening animation.. Yes the animation did not even features the characters .. How do i say i was expecting to see some characters in the animation to get a feel for the anime.. But the opening animation was kind of like no link to the anime at all... I feel that a better job can be done for the opening animation for the next related anime..

All in all Usagi drop is definitely a treasure and a gem that is bury under the ground waiting to be found. So i am sharing this treasure to the world.. I am not really sure that it will appeals to most people out there.. Because this anime is really all about life.. Nothing fanciful and fantasy about it.. However i can assure people that loves to be emotionally overwhelmed, this anime will definitely satisfy your hunger.. For those poeple who are looking for something emotional , heart warming and inspiring? Usagi drop will be at the top of the list :D So let this anime gives a little push for your busy and stressful life and let it have a little change in your life like how it affect mine :D

Another

Orz people!!! long time no hear from me eh.. i have been ''Mia-ing'' for a good few months.. Really have to apologise for it.. Just ended my exams few days ago.. So i have some spare time to update this space again :D well well so please continue to stalk my blog alright! Okay i am coming back with an anime review which is the long awaited anime, ''Another''. It is a fairly new anime that is released early this year.. If you want me to summarise what this anime is like, i will just have to say that it is a animated version of ''final destination''. Yes it is quite similar to shiki where people just keep on dying :D well the genre would be mystery, drama, horror, school and gore. It has a total of 12 episodes and 1 OVA.

Rating: 8.5 / 10

The story starts off with the main character ''Sakakibara Kouichi''being transferred to yomiyama middle school and specifically class 3-3. However, kouichi discovered the whole class is acting very weird and seems to be isolating one of their classmates namely ''Misaki mei''. Despite getting repeated warning from the class to not get close to mei but kouichi still decided to befriend her anyway. Mei then told him the story related to the class strange behaviour..

26 year ago, there was also a girl call ''misaki'' in class 3-3 who was famous and likeable by everyone. However after her sudden death, her classmates and teachers still act as if she still existed till graduation. Ever since then, a very strange phenomena happened every year in class 3-3. There will be an ''extra person'' in class 3-3. This extra person is presumed to be dead and nobody know who this extra person is. Ever since, people in class 3-3 started to die randomly even for unknown reasons.

Because of mei having the same name as misaki, the class believed that she was the extra person. So they presumed that by denying her existence, the strange phenomena will stop.. However, after kouichi has transferred to the class, people just keep dying. Kouichi decided to investigate this and slowly uncovered the bloody truth behind this phenomena.

Despite being such as short anime, this have definitely made it into my ''must watch'' list of anime. This anime is just so unique and plain awesome. like i said, ''Another'' is pretty much similar to the famous movie '' final destination''. Yes so you can actually pretty much guess that people will keep dying even in the most ridiculous way without even knowing why. With people dying, of course there will be gore scenes. Trust me, the gore scenes in ''Another'' is no joke and cannot be rival. Trust me ''Another'' has one of the best gore scenes in the history of anime. At some point of the time, this anime is pretty much overwhelming and mind fking. So the major scoring point of the anime would be pretty much is the bloody scenes that you have no words other than plain awesomeness :D Another magic that this anime can do is that it is dam impactful.. Okay i have to admit this is the first anime that actually scares me to watch it at night... So you can actually imagine how much horror this anime can bring to ur head...

Of course there are still some minus points. The first very obvious one is the length of the anime. It is just way too short.. Come on with so much awesome scenes, how can people not ask for more.. Okay secondly is the ending.. "Another" is a pretty serious anime with so much happening ( people die and etc) through the length of the anime and the ending is just so sudden and insignificant. The entire anime is so mind fking with so many crazy and breath taking scenes.. But the anime just end so abruptly ... The watcher has no time to settle down... So i would say the proportion is not that good.. Lastly, the story kinds get draggy in the middle.. with a little bit too much talking and dull scenes... It will be great if the scenes can be replaced by some epic or more gore scenes...

For a 12 episodes anime, it only has two songs .. Kyoumu Densen is another master piece by Ali project.. Yes it is one of my favourite song even till now... It also suits the theme for the anime completely with a horror and a mystery beats.. Definitely is a must download.. Anamnesis is a rather slow song.. Well kinds of dull at first but is pleasing to hear as a slow song..

Alright please do not forget that this anime also has an additional OVA. It serves as a prequel for the main series... Well it is also kind of a spoiler if you watch it first before the main series... All in all '' Another'' is another great master piece that is definitely worth a high score.. Most importantly it is also appealing to short length anime lovers... The anime may seems complex at the start but actually kinds of easy to digest if you pay enough attention.. Well for fans of final destination and people who just loves to see ppl die with blood spilling everywhere.. No doubt this anime would be the best choice..

Digimon Xros Wars

Hey people!!! It has been about a month plus since i have blogged... I am really sorry about it.. School has been really busy for me with tons of projects.. I promise i will update this space more often when things turn better :D As you can see from the title, the topic of today would be '' Digimon xros wars''. This is the latest Digimon series up to date.. Although the response is not very good, it is in fact good enough for me.. Come on Digimon are always nice right? ''Digimon xros wars is actually quite different from the other Digimon series with much more new characters, Digimon and even a unique concepts.. I will say that it is a must try for Digimon lovers :D It has only one season with a total of 79 episodes..It is definitely the longest Digimon series in history. Okay although it has only one season, but it actually can be categorised into 2 parts... Beware of spoilers in this post.. It is just so good that i have to spoil it to have a better response!!!

The story follows a 7th grade boy, kudo taiki. His ordinary life change when he heard a mytserious melody and follow it into an alley. A mysterious device also known as the xros loader then appear before him and his 2 friends, akari and zenjiro which dragged them into another dimension which is also known as the digital world inhabited by creatures known as Digimon. Shoutmon the first digimon that they met then told them that the digital world is now slowly taken over by an evil empire also known as the bagra army that is led by Bagramon. The digital world is separated into different zone with a ''code crown'' place in each zone. The one who has all the code crown will have the power to rule the entire digital world. Now kudo taki together with his friends must join hands with shoutmon and gang forming a team , ''Xros heart''. They must now go on an dangerous adventure to collect all the code crown before the bagra army to save the digital world. Along the way, they met many new friends and also crisis that they have never seen before...

Okay now time for the reveiw!!! Like i say, digimon xros wars is really very different from the other Digimon series.. Other than digivolving, it has a whole new add on that is known as ''Digi xros'' in the series. It actually combines 2 or more Digimon together with one of them acting as the core. They are not really fuse together.. It is sort of like megazords like what you see in power rangers...However this add on is still great:D This is something that you can never get bored of it as there are tons of combination waiting for you to explore as you go along!! However, they actually took away the traditional concepts of digivolving to different levels away.. This is really something sad.. As the digimon in this series are no longer categorise into different levels (rookie, champion, ultimate, mega). I not saying that they don't digivolve at all.. just that they don't digivolve into many different levels. Sadly to say, at the very most they are only able to digivolve one level above where most of the time you can only see them digi xros-ing....

something good for a change is that the tradition of the main character having goggles is back.. If you are a big fan of Digimon, you should be able to notice that for all of the main character in the different Digimon series, they actually has a goggle with ''Digimon data squat'' as the only exception... Like i say just mow, even it only has one season, in fact it is separated into 2 parts. It will has a clear transition between episode 54 and 55... Not to mention that the focus will actually shift into another new character... so you can in fact say that there is a total of 2 main character in this series.. This is the only Digimon series that has 2 main characters... Defintely something new but i am not that fond of it... I am not saying that it is bad, just that i prefer the traditional way of having one main character per series...

Okay now time for the spoiler part... In the later episode of the series towards the end, characters together with their Digimon partner from the past Digimon series will actually make their appearance in this series.. This is definitely my favourite element of this series.. I mean like you don't really see different Digimon series coming together...This is definitely something awesome!! So it actually creates a strong impression and impact as it is the only Digimon series who does this.. You can definitely expect something fun, exciting, superior evolution and fighting when so many series joining hands!!! So xros wars is sort of like a Digimon anniversary where it showcase and recall the characters and Digimon from past series. Definitely something very memorable :D

Now time for the song part.. It actually only has 3 opening with no ending... It also has many inserts.. So i will just list the one that i really like.. so here goes:

3. Stand up by Twill (OP 3)

4. We are Xros heart by Koji Wada (Insert)


By convention, the opening song of Digimon is always sang by Koji wada.. However in this case, it is not... So yeah kind disappointing... The soundtrack are quite alright, but then i will say it is pale comparing to the songs from other series...

All in all, ''Digimon xros wars'' is something with a decent plot and many new concepts inserted.. This series is like a breakthrough of the tradition Digimon series where digivolving is not the main concern here... The start of this series maybe boring and dull... However if you are able to persevere, the later episodes will be your reward.. For people who always dream of seeing Digimon from all the series coming together and fight, then ''Digimon Xros wars'' will be a dream come true for you!!!! Well stay tune for more :D

Rozen maiden : Traumend

Hey hey people!!! It has been 5 good days since i have blog... Don't worry i am still on this small place... School has been really very busy.. Sadly!! Anyway like i promised, this post will be dedicated to the second season of rozen maiden which is ''Rozen maiden : Traumend''. If you have finish watching season one you should have expected a season two definitely.. This time of course you can expect more dolls making an appearance... However not as much as in season one.. Of course there would be some minor changes in the story..This is definitely a good continuation to the season one.. Do expect the story to be more tense and serious now.. The genre stays relatively the same... It has a total of 12 episodes...

Continuing from season one, Jun is still the main focus here.. However, his personality has changed for the better.. He no longer shut himself up in the room like some anti social freak.. He is now busy spending time in the library to catch up with his study and make up for what he had missed... But then he still took some minor time of his to spent it with his rozen maiden's... However, shinku has been getting weird dreams lately.. The defeat of suigintou by her own hands is getting into her head.. It is just too overwhelming for her to handled.. To make matter worst, 2 last additional rozen maiden awakened and make their appearance.. The airhead and absent minded Kanaria and the powerful, terrifying and mysterious seventh rozen maiden, Barasuishou. The awakening of the seventh doll also marks the starts of Alice game...And everything starts to become chaotic.. Soon they will also learn the truth of the identity of Barasuishou...

Rozen maiden : Traumend like i said is a good continuation of the first season.. This has really conclude the whole dolls series... From my opinion, this is slightly better than the first season.. You know there is more action, fighting and lesser comic relief... Not to mention that the suspense is just so appealing that draws the viewer's to watch... And the twist is quite good i should say.. Kind of took me by surprise :D In this second season, the story just gets more and more emotional by bits.. Many things become more tense and serious.. You know characters dying and then people going for revenge and stuff.. Yeah so its kind of sad even at the start of the series.. but then i still manage to hold back my tears because it is not as sad as angel beats or anohana..

At the start, it can be quite boring at least it is to me.. But then as it approaches the middle.. It just gonna startled you!! When the real stuff comes in, be prepared to say ''Wow''!! Even though the flow is so good, but the ending is not as awesome as i would expect it to be... The ending is like a no ending...The ending totally did not shoot up to my expectation and it is just so not cool..I find it a real pity..

For a 12 episode and concluding series, it has a reasonable amount of songs.. But this time the songs did not really appeal to me as much as the ones in season one.. So i totally skipped the songs after hearing it once... But then again it is just my opinion... If you have finished season one, It has no reason for you to skip this season.. If the first season does not appeals to you as much, then this season would be your turning point.. All in all rozen maiden : Traumend is something quite enjoyable to watch and has quite a strong impact as the keys part unfolds.. You can definitely expect much more in this season... Well happy watching!!! :D

Kamisama no memochou

Sup people!!! After a taking short break, i am back for more anime reviews!!! Surprising there was no school on the second day of the new term.. Woah!! but then again i can foresee many stressful things coming.. things aside, ''Kamisama no memochou'' or ''Heaven memo pad's'' is actually a detective based anime... Thats mean you can expect to have some mystery, suspense and even actions... Something different would be that one of the main lead is actually a loli!! A loli solving mystery? This is no kiddy show by the way... It has a total of 12 episodes..

The story follows a ordinary highschool student, Fujishima Narumi.. There is only one thing that can really describe him, lifeless and plain.. He is completely isolated from other people , even his family...One day everything changed when he met one of his female classmates, shinozaki ayaka who invited him to joins the gardening club... Ayaka later also introduces her to a group of NEET and Alice, a NEET detective but also a Hikikomori at the same time... And through some turns of events, narumi was hired as Alice assistance and helps her to solve mysteries upon request by people... Narumi then finds himself leading a meaningful and exciting life everyday...


*Hikikomori : It refers to people who chose to withdraw from social life and seeking extreme isolations due to some reasons..

*NEET : It is a term given to people currently not in education, employment or training...



''Kamisama no memochou'' is actually quite a serious anime... but then it still have minor comic relief every here and there... The scene's are really funny.. definitely can make normal people laugh.. At the start, i was totally blur and was thing like what the hell is going on here.... but not to worry actually because many things will start to become clearer slowly.. This anime is definitely something that must follow closely or else you will miss out some little details.. In other words, you can get lost easily.. Still, you will somehow get the hang of it as you progressed...

Character wise,Alice is a wonderful female lead... I, myself is not really a big fan of loli's.. However after knowing Alice, i just can't get enough of her.. If she is not moving, people can easily mistook her as a doll.. Thats how cute she is :D Like i say, don't think tat this anime is some kiddy show just because of alice.. It is really nothing like that.. Alice role is just to make a contrast in the show after all majority of the characters are guys.. Did i mention there are some busty girls :P

Despite having so many good points, there are still some stuff that lowers the score.. One of which will be the length of the anime.. It is just way too short... Quite a pity here.. Because it is just too sad to say goodbye to Alice D: Apart from it, some of things are not really explain clearly... so it gets kind of confusing at times.. Lastly will the ending.. I am someone who see the ending as something important.. the anime just end off too normally.. It does not end off on a high note and neither at a very low mood.. So it does not really has this memorable effect..

For a 12 episode anime, it is pretty decent to have only have one opening and one ending and an additional insert song... ''Kawaru Mirai'' and ''Asunaro'' was something that did not catch my attention at the start... However after the first 2 episodes, i know i need to get the songs in my ipod.. It is just too catchy!! ''Teddy'' Definitely suits the detective theme and the scene... It totally gives off the creepy and suspense feelings..Nice!!


''Kamisama no memochou'' is definitely a must watch for lolicons. I can safely tell you that Alice would not let you down... Sadly to say, there are really not much action here.. but with Alice around, you should expect many funny gags coming up.. IF you are looking for some deep plot, here is the one.. Looking for some cute girls solving mysteries and at the same time with some funny characters? ''Kamisama no memochou'' is something that you do not want to miss...

Awesome characters that can only stay as a dream

Yosh people!!! Okay this will probably be the last post for this holiday.. School reopen on monday, oh man this sucks.. So i am going to do something different today.... but then again it still has something do with anime characters.. Just like what the title says, i am gonna introduce some of my all time favourites female characters of my dreams which you probably can't see it in reality... Well take note that this is just some of them, not ALL... I have a hard time choosing... Anw there will be some spoiler, so sorry minna!!! So do enjoy :D



First off, we have something that everybody should be familiar with... Yes, it is none other than the other version of hatsune miku, Black rock shooter!!! I personally do not really like hatsune miku a lot, but then i am way over my head for black rock shooter... I only started falling in love with her after watching its anime as in the tv series.. You know the way how she fight with all the cool weapons(Guns, cannons, amour, sword and etc).. Her appearance is just something out of the world.. Everything about her is almost perfect such as her hair, eyes, clothes and so on... She is the perfect girl that any guy can dream off :D



Oh this is someone that i had just found out recently.... We have Nakata sae from Amagami ss... The anime belongs to a romance genre, but then is really something very different... So wait for reviews alright :D okay in her arc, sae is seems as a very shy, chibi, big boobs and a very cute character... Her personality, appearance, everything in fact is something that i have dream off everyday.. I like chibi girls with monstrous body ^^ Her shyness just make her cuteness shot up like crazy ... Almost any normal guy would love her.... Definitely deserve to be in my top favourite list xD



Oh oh we have yui from K on!!! Come on, i am sure she is pretty famous... Another cute looking girl but has a flat chess.. However it definitely suits her overall appearance...I actually had a very hard time choosing among the k on characters.. All of them are just too good but the yui still appeals more to me. What i like best about her is actually her personality... She just kinds of reminds me of a cat... She is an airhead, blur, innocent, fun,lazy... How do i say, you just can never get angry with her around... She is so innocent that any guy would just want to dote on her all day long :D



Okay, this girl is definitely someone you can never come across in real life.. Of course she is Chihaya from chihayafuru... Well her name has something to do with the Japanese 100 poems in karuta.. Everything around her is just so dream like.. Despite her appearance, she actually has a very boyish attitude... So everybody tends to say that her beauty vanishes when she starts to speak.. However i definitely do not feel this way... Her personality is a great contrast and complement her appearance.. She is just pure kind,nothing wicked or bad about her... she gives her all for her dream... Definitely very appealing to me... Sadly,i don't think i will ever find someone like her in reality D:



Hohoho, finally we have lucy from fairy tail... Oh my fairy tail just an awesome anime that produce many good characters and lucy is one of the example... Lucy is a celestial wizard that summons spirits to help her fight!She looks cute and definitely busty :D Although she always does not appeals to the males outside of her guild in the anime, but not in my case.. Come on, her figure is any female should be jealous of.. not to mention that she has a cute child like face... Just pure greatness... Hail people!! If she does exist in real life, she would have been mentally killed by all the females :P Well probably not...



Okay this marks the end of my post for this holiday... These characters are just chosen and written in my opinions..
